I've been here a couple of times and been impressed on both occasions.
This time I attended with two friends - together we are starting our own catering business (not in Leeds) and if I'm honest, we went to critique the place - hoping it wouldn't live up to expectations. However, it certainly does. Contrary to some recent reviews, we found the food to be very good. The St. Louis ribs were meaty. The brisket was to die for (although I'm not convinced it had been smoked). The sausage was fab - spicy with the 'pop' of the skin. Pulled pork was good and smokey (although the flavour may well have been coming from the sauce rather than the meat). Pit beans and sweet potato fries are great - super tasty. Mac and cheese and grits were under seasoned for me but perfectly pleasurable accompaniments. Good beers. Good service (but would have hoped our waitress would've known what woods were used to smoke.
Overall - brilliant concept, good food and great experience. Well done reds.
