If you want value for money then this is it. A great location within 2 minutes walk to many bars and restaurants.

Car parking is discounted at £8 per 24 hours and is close by. All the facilities are usual premier inn standards and would use again if visiting Leeds.

Stayed: February 2014

excellent hotel despite the basic image portrayed by other more plush hotels...had great night sleep in comfy twin room and my 2 teenage sons (who were attending a University interview) shared the opposite room where they too gave positive feedback. The only concerns I had were the booking system in the foyer was a bit misleading to people like me who are not up to speed with computer automated systems (I witnessed other guests needing assistance with the system after we had sorted ours and the staff member was busy with us all which may indicate need for a review) ....my sons took care of that with initial instruction from the reception staff so all was sorted in the end! Secondly, the parking facilities took us a long time to fathom as we were confused with the layout of the one way system and it took us a long time to find it despite passing the hotel several times! I realise this is not a problem of the hotel itself but feel that the directions could be a bit clearer for a smoother less stressful end to the journey.
The breakfast was excellent and the staff very accommodating.
I would definitely come back and stay again and recommend it to others.

Location*** great for central Leeds, a walk away from shopping, Leeds museum, Millenium square. We walked from railway station without any problem to this hotel.

Staff*** lovely welcome on arrival! room keys issued, wifi booked for £9 for the whole stay and we were in the room within minutes. Throughout the three nights staff were very visable in reception.

Value*** smashing value! we booked in advance and booked a family room for three night during half term. £25 per night for two adults & 2 children, room was clean, warm, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Second stay in this hotel and I would definitely return without hesitation.

We stayed for 3 nights during the half-term school holidays and as such thought the prices would have been far higher than they were. I have stayed at PI on many, many occasions over the last 8 years and they are my Hotel Chain of choice. This is because as the saying goes 'you can always rely on a Premier Inn'.

Leeds City Centre Leeds Arena is a new style hotel and is served over 9 floors, with more than sufficient lifts to all levels. On arrival on Sunday at 2pm following a battle against the one-way system, Al on reception was excellent. He knew we had elderly, disabled parents as they were booked into Room 202 and instantly offered us the free disabled parking iin the hotel basement carpark and enquired if they were Blue-Badge holders. The parking arrangements were explained, were clear and the car-park entrance we easy to locate, despite contradicting reports of this faclility in a previous review.

Martin in the Restaurant was also excellent and we had breakfast each morning but as we were in Leeds visiting family and friends, we only needed to dine in the in-house Thyme restaurant on our last evening. Service by all staff was always; polite, courteous, respectful and friendly.

The rooms are classic PI standard; clean, bright and big. As this is a relatively new build the hotel decor remains pristine and fresh as it has not yet had the time to become 'tired'.

Located right in the city centre, opposite the Leeds Arena and in easy walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. There is a small convenience shop/supermarket in the building opposite reception where you can buy newspapers, drinks and other provisions should you have the need.

The parking situation was explained to us before our arrival via email, detailing the location of the Merrion Centre, which is situated across the road and no more than a couple of minutes walk away. We were only here for 3 days and I soon conquered the cities one-way system and all that was required was to pop into reception to alert them of your return and they would activate the barrier for continued use of the disabled parking. Donna in reception working alongside Al deserves a special mention as she eloquently articulated the traffic light system for exiting the basement car park, as there is a special one-way system in operation.

We only paid £29 for each room on Sunday and Monday and £35 for each room for Tuesday evening, which allowed us to enjoy a very pleasant and relaxing 3 night stay for 4 people in two rooms, all for just £186.00.

Once again, very well done Premier Inn and I will continue to use you for all my business needs in the future.

Room Tip: Free disabled parking available in basement carpark if you are a Blue Badge holder.

We arrived around 7pm last Friday. The guy who greeted us was really helpful, both on that occasion and others during the weekend. Martin too (in the restaurant at breakfast) was really good at his job. Good people are hard to find and even harder to retain in any profession or industry so Premier Inn take note - Martin needs a promotion to some kind of managerial / training role. He was professional, friendly, cheerful, efficient and was able to guide/ steer the staff he was working with. (i or 2 seemed to be new but he did a great job keeping an eye on them and helping them.) My rating for the restaurant is only for breakfast as we dined out.

The bedroom and ensuite were classic Premier Inn - excellent value, very clean, comfy bed and plenty of space. For a night or 2 they are great. Don't know how they do it at the price. However it says on the Leeds Arena Premier Inn website page that there's a 'Free Parking Facility' - not that I know of. I had to pay £8 (which I understand was discounted) for each overnight stay in the car park which is in the Merrion Shopping Centre. It is a 2-3 minute walk away which is only a minus if you're unaware of that fact. Thanks to comments on Tripadvisor, we were aware.

The hotel is well placed for city centre shopping - a 10 minute walk (so my wife was happy) and within 5 mins walk of various restaurants.

Yes, we'd stay again but if there is free parking can you tell me where it is please Premier Inn?

Stayed for one night at the end of January. The hotel is conveniently located with shops, bars and restaurants close by. The room was large and clean, though not sure what's going on with the plumbing! The shower was a form of water torture, making a truly horrendous noise, but agreed with staff when told there was probably air in the system. It was quiet for a Friday night, although I imagine it would get quite busy if there was a concert at the arena opposite. Would stay again.
