“A big thank you!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

I would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff at the Premier Inn Leeds city centre north for the 2 days and nights that my family and myself stayed there. There was a large party of us staying and the staff went out of their way to help us and nothing was ever too much trouble for them.. A bigh thank you to Martin in the restaurant who was very helpful and always smiling. Anything that we asked for was deliverd on time to our rooms and we were all accomodated on the same floor which was very convenient. the rooms were large and spacious and the showers worked perfectly. Thank you again for making this a fantastic stay.

My experience at the Premier Inns I stay at in Sheffield and Leeds is very friendly staff, very quiet rooms where you really are guaranteed a good night's sleep, good quality breakfast at a reasonable price (its all about the sausages!!). The value and expectation are just perfect.

There is nothing at all really budget about this hotel except the price. It is a new highrise and has the feel of a first class city hotel, perhaps because it is so new as is all the furnishings in the rooms. Its probably the best choice in Leeds in terms of value, location and quality. It call itself City North yet its slap bang in the heart of Leeds, in the Civic quarter of the city near the universities and LGI Hospital. Since im working alot in the Leeds area at the moment im going to be staying on a regular basis and it felt good this week to return to the friendly comfortable atmosphere of the hotel after a busy day of meetings. What really makes this hotel is the positive friendly attitude of the reception staff. Al, Adam and all the guys on reception were not only really friendly but highly efficent and very customer service orientated. I did have an issue with no heating on the 1st two nights of my stay, the guys done all they could to keep re setting the system but it kept stopping then blowwing out freezing cold air. Most hotels would simply send bottle of wine to the room or offer you free breakfast but this chain have a good night sleep guarantee so refunded the affected nights without question which was much appreciated and that really demonstrates this is a hotel that genuinely cares about guests. I was able to get moved into a nother room for the next two nights of my stay which had great heating that worked. The rooms are new with sofas, thick carpets, spacious bathrooms, flat screen tv and mopst importantly very quiet, i did not hear a thing all night. really comfy beds which made getting up in the morning a bit of an effort. Wished I was on holiday rather than a business trip. Im going to be staying here in least a coupel of weeks a month on a regular basis so it is good to know i have a found a great place to stay in Leeds. The only thing i disliked was the net curtin up at the window which spoiled the view and made the room feel a little dark. If I wanted some privacy id draw the main curtains so can we lose the net curtins please.

Stayed at this premier inn with my husband and 15 year old son for 1 night whilst visiting my eldest son who is a student at Leeds university. Easy to find from the car park, very decent car parking charges (with card from reception). Room perfectly fine, quiet and clean. restaurant food lovely and well priced, drinks also well priced. Breakfast was lovely with loads of choice. Staff friendly and efficient. A great value stay, will be staying again when in Leeds.

Only stayed one night but this fairly new Premier Inn was one of the best I have stayed in. Room was very clean and tidy. As I was on the sixth floor no noise from outside which meant a very quiet nights sleep. Hotel was handy for the Merrion Centre (where you had to park) where I was playing in a bowling competition.

Recently stayed here and really enjoyed it, the location is perfect as its just a short walk to the centre where the shops are, we came to leeds by train and was easy to find from the train station, staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was very clean and the bed was comfy, the breakfast was perfect with a great selection.

Overall had a great time and would definantly stay here again

On arrival staff were very helpful, and got us checked in very quickly. Room was fantastic size and very clean. Included a cot as requested. Didn't have 'A Good Night's Sleep' however. At 7pm the fire alarm went off, which resulted in me and my 2 children (aged 5 and 1) and the rest of the hotel stood out on the street while they investigated. Staff were brilliant at keeping guests informed what was happening and were eventually told it was a false alarm and were allowed back in. Then got all the way back to our room, to find the keycards now werent working, again reception staff were most helpful in sorting it out. But, the fire alarm again went off at approx 1.30am, as you can imagine, my children woke, and could not settle which resulted in a restless nights sleep for us all.. As we complained the next morning the staff were a bit standoffish about it. Never apologised either which put us off staying again as a simple apology would have been nice!! Breakfast was lovely, and staff were very helpful in the restaurant. Even showing my 5 year old were everything was.. Overall a very nice hotel, clean modern and spacious. Just unfortunate we stayed the night that we did.
