It has been several years since we last eat here and we had forgotten how good the food was. The mixed starter was delicious as was the rest of the food. There was no food left on our plates. My only complaint was that the pershwari naan was a little too sweet.

From entering to leaving, from wining to dining, from laughing to smiling, Bengal is the best.
With family or friends, in big groups or couples their service knows no ends.
The food is great with plenty of choice and all the staff are really friendly.
A 5 star experience at a 3 star cost, you would have to travel far to beat this lot.

The Bengal is a bit of a diamond. Not too far from Kirkstall Road and the Vue cinema, etc. it has a good range of tasty, freshly cooked dishes. They will also cook you up something as a one-off or make the dishes on the menu milder or spicier to suit your taste. I favour the Murgh Khandari, a nice combination of chicken fillet in a lamb mince sauce.

The staff are attentive & courteous so there is none of that having to wait to catch just the right moment when the waiters dash past.

The restaurant is licensed so I go with a pint of draught Cobra to wash it all down. You may even get a free drink to end you on your way. All in all, a really enjoyable experience.
