“A firm favourite for a takeaway”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

We regularly use Bengal brasserie for a takeaway and it always delivers a reliably good curry, prompt delivery and good value for money. The menu is varied and never disappoints. We have eaten in the restaurant as well and are always made to feel welcome by the friendly staff.

“Excellent food! First class service!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013

I have eaten at the Bengal Brasserie frequently for the last 2/3 years. I have to say, with the quality food and fantastic service, this is one of the best curry houses in the Leeds area.

The food is always freshly prepared. The restaurant is always just about the right level of busy, therefore not long to wait. As well as brilliant food, the team provide an equally brilliant service.

I have never had any bad experiences in my 2/3 years of custom here, and I usually eat here (at least!!) a couple of times a month.

If you have not already done so, I recommend you make your way to the B/B one evening and give these guys a chance to entertain you whilst you enjoy what will no doubt be an excellent meal.

“Poor...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013

I visited one evening as I heard about the buffet on a sunday but there didn't look to be much on so we ordered off the menu. Overall the chicken in the meals was dry and tasteless it looked to be constituted.. all the exact same shape. The sauce was bland the ingredients all seemed poor the and
Rice was dry. You can get much better value elsewhere.

“Impulse eating after a long abstinence”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

We were passing and hungry, fancied Indian so, Leeds, only one place to go really. Staff recognised and greeted us a usual - have favoured the York restaurant for geographical reasons recently, so was a bit surprised.

Service was excellent as usual although waiter was a little quieter than usual - not a problem though. Starter I felt was maybe not quite up to standard - but still beats any other. Main was excellent as usual - no surprises there.

Busy but not overcrowded, very good food, rather a nice night out in the end. If you like Indian food, this is where you should be.

“Returned many of times!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013

Me and my partner have been together for 7 years and have eaten here at least once a month for the last 7 years! Sham and team are excellent, extremely polite and have just the amount of good banter a restaurant should have but with a professional approach. I have had almost everything on the menu and the food is definitely cooked fresh! Would recommend Bengal to anyone.
