“Disabled accommodation”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2012

Stayed in June 2012 for 4 nights - weather not great - hotel is a bit out of the way but that's nice - no parking fuss. Staff were great and friendly - breakfast was great too but wasn't really impressed with the dinner menu or quality of food I'm afraid. Gym & spa were great and beautiful indoor pool and interior courtyard.

Thanks for your review, just unsure over your phrase disabled accommodation? I hope that we met your requirements around the hotel on the space front, in public areas, your bedroom and spa facilities.
We source alot of our ingredients locally. I am sorry that we were not able to meet your expectations on this occassion with regards to the dinner menu and the quality side of the food.
I do hope that this has not put you off returning to Thorpe Park Hotel in the future and we will look forward to welcoming you back.

Kind regards,
Gordon Jackson - General Manager

I recently stayed at the Thorpe Park Hotel for one night for a conference with work. The hotel is well located and easy to find. The rooms are lovely and the beds are just so comfy. The bathroom has both a large bath and a walk in shower with lots of added extras. We didn't get chance to use the spa unfortunately but it looked lovely.
Our evening was so well organised and a particular thank you to all the excellent staff is needed; they were all so friendly and helpful. All in all a great hotel, thanks.

Super feedback, I hoped you enjoyed the benefits of our conference café where you can “graze” all day from all the goodies throughout your working day!
Very kind comments about the team which we will circulate around the hotel for all to read.
You must come back and enjoy one of our relaxtion packages where you can be pampered all weekend!
Look forward to welcoming you back for leisure next time oppose to “Business!”

Kind regards,

As soon as we arrive...OMG!!!!! It's fabulous, the exterior and interior well presented. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful to all our needs. Felt like VIP treatment. Me and my friends booked it for a girly day and night which is the special offer until the end of this year.

We had a very nice executive room, very big, neat and tidy, modern, and comfortable. We spent the day relaxing around the pool, sauna, and spa. There is also a good fitness centre that you can work out before going to the relaxation area if you want to. Upstairs, there is a spa facilities and also the relaxing room with complimentary tea and coffee.

In the evening, we were served with a set of Tapas, popcorn, ice cream, fresh strawberries, and a choice of classic movies to watch in our room. In the morning, breakfast was tremendous!!!!!

It'd been such a wonderful time, didn't want it to end. We will definitely be going back again.

Book it now if you want to experience the five stars treatment for an affordable price ^______^

Have stayed at Thorpe park many a times, and each time is as good as the last! The reception staff were extremeley helpful and attentive, as were the bar staff. We came down for lunch in the afternoon and greeted by a young girl, Hannah I think her name was, and she took our food(which we were very fussy about ordering) and drinks order. She was very polite and it seemed that she couldn't do enough for us! The bar was fairly busy, but we were never left with empty glasses, and felt like we were the only ones in there! We then returned to the room got changed and used the spa- very relaxing, maybe not the best idea after an afternoon tipple! In the evening we were torn between dining in the resteraunt or sitting in the bar. On entering the bar, Hannah was there again, and said "we Having the same again" and even remembered our name and room number- just a little touch to make us feel special! Having spoke to her and understanding that the menu was the same in both dining areas, we thought we'd sit in the bar. The service again was just as you would expect from a high end resteraunt! Again, we never had an empty glass and one of the bar staff (I think his name was Daniel was in a suit ?) suggested a bottle of wine for us as we were indecisive- no change there! There seemed to be friendly banter between the bar staff and what looked to be the locals sat at the bar, always a relaxing atmosphere, not uniformed or rushed. The food was lovely, I had calves liver, and couldn't fault it and my husband had the fish and chips which was massive!!! We were then persuade to have a desert where Hannah recommended sticky toffee pudding, and she was right, it was stunning, and would have made room another 3! To round the evening off, we had coffee, and went back to the room to rest out bellies! Once again, a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family for a meal, and a
Stay !

This really is a great review, very pleased we have got it right for you each time you return to Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa.
We have to make sure your last stay is as good as next one by continuing to be passionate about what we do, our product and service.
Thank you for excellent comments about the team, I will certainly pass on – we have recently introduced a new menu therefore you can eat what you want, when you want and where you want on all of the ground floor in any of our public areas and is being well received.
Once again really fantastic comments about the hotel and look forward to welcoming you both back soon.

Kind regards,

We stay frequently at this hotel on business and it it consistently of a high standard for a hotel of its size. On our last visit we were upgraded to a 'four poster' room. Very nice, but to he honest, the rooms the same size as a standard room, just different furniture and decorations. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful as are all the staff. We had dinner in the bar on several evenings and were lucky enough to be looked after by Hannah. She is a great ambassador for the hotel. The only area that needs some attention is the taxi company the hotel uses. The taxis for one are not very well looked after, but mainly the drivers do not know where places are in Leeds. Even somewhere as well know as the Victoria Quarter can pose a problem, My recommendation would be that the hotel reviews it's contract with the company. If you use them, be prepared to at least have some idea as to where you are going.

Looking at the address and website I was expecting the usual modern-slightly-out-of-town-on-a business-park (all of which is true) utterly predictable affair - but I was wrong!! A short taxi ride from Leeds station, it's a really nice hotel - yes, it's modern and rather soulless on the outside but don't be fooled by the exterior!! The inside is stylish and the welcome warm. My room was a good size with good air conditioning (thankfully - it was the hottest day of the year so far!) and a really comfortable bed. Great shower too which I really appreciate! Good dinner, excellent meeting facilities, gorgeous spa and pool area, great helpful staff. Excellent!

we stayed here as part of my cousins hen weekend, and I can't praise the service we received highly enough. From the quality of the rooms, the food and service to the spa treatments even the gardens all were of the highest standard and we were made to feel really welcome.
