nice to walk around even though it's so close to leeds bradford airport (you can watch the planes from there if you're in to that kind of thing). after all the exercise fish and chips at murgatroyds fish shop on the crossroads serve the best fish and chips i've ever had

Nice park area with boating lake, clean and a good space for little ones to burn a little energy with the added bonus of seeing a few planes as next to the runway of airport. The park also has a playpark with slides etc.

It is brilliant because I can roller skate along the flat bits. But I cannot go up the hilly bits but it is still great for the people with bikes, scooters and other wheeled vehicles like roller skates. I <3 Yeadon Tarn!!!!!

We live near here, so go quite a lot. Good parking. Level tarmac path all around the lake, with seats at regular intervals, and a picnic area with tables. Play area for younger children with a toilet block near to this. Cycle playground near the parking area for older children.

The tarn is shared by anglers, a yachting club and a model boat club, not forgetting the swans, geese, ducks, moorhens and coots.

There is a bandstand, an ice cream van in summer and a couple of excellent fish n chip shops in the near vicinity.

It's next to the main runway at Leeds/Bradford airport so yo can watch the planes as well.

There's lots to like and nothing to dislike.
