Our experience with this Travelodge started and ended with excellence! From booking online with a bargain price, day of arrival, courtesy call received to confirm what time we would arrive, directed us to their choice of car park (discounted 24hr rate £10!) Arrived and greeted by same lady who had called to confirm our arrival, really polite informing us of everything we needed to know, we was offered breakfast but declined as we had a busy night ahead of us! Lovely nights sleep in a really clean room, the room overlooked the railway line and never heard any noise! Check out was as smooth as check in a we will definitely return!

Room Tip: best prices available online when booked in advance

This hotel was really convenient for the train station and the trinity shopping centre and car park.
room was comfortable, clean and the bed was wonderful!.
We had a meal in the bar and the meals were plentiful, filling and very tasty!.
Breakfast was varied, with plenty of choices.
All the staff were very welcoming, professional and friendly, and security was excellent, as when we came back to the hotel at midnight, we was asked by reception what our room number and names were!.
Kerry the manager was on reception the following morning, and was brilliant!, friendly and professional!
We would highly recommend this hotel, and is especially excellent as it is close to Blayds bar!!.
Above all a fab stay and we WILL be coming back.
A*****.

The hotel has been refurbished and was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and efficient (special mention to Kerry and colleague) the friendliest happiest receptionists in the world, it was a pleasure to meet them. The hotel could not be faulted.

me and my friend stayed in separate rooms for a wedding close by. Being so central I was expecting too much noise no matter where we stayed. We asked for a higher floor room next to each other, and the staff were amazing and sorted this for us. With the exception of a few doors being heard closed thru the night we heard nothing. The beds were so comfy and the rooms appeared to be newly refurbished complete with black out curtains. Having to attend a wedding both morning and night dos I had three baths, one very early before going, one after the ceremony and one late on returning home from the night. On every occasion the water was piping hot, the shower was also wonderful to use. In the morning, breakfast was exceptional. Large choice, all you can eat. Cereals, grapefruit, toast and jam, outburst, scrambled egg, sausage, bacon, beans and large grilled tomatoes, fresh coffee and a choice of teas and fruit juices. Would definitely stay again...I ignored previous bad comments about noise due to it being so central, its to be expected anywhere, but this wasn't the case on our particular visit, 29th/30th November . Thanks to the amazing night staff... They're a credit to your hotel.

Room Tip: just ask for requirements, they were happy to accommodate, we checked in at 3pm so had a choice. Hig...
