I like this theatre, and regularly travel two hours to see a show there. They get all the big musicals and west end shows. The only reservation I have is that the shows are never as good as they are in London, but I suppose that is to be expected. If you've already seen a show in London or on Broadway, then don't bother seeing it again here, as you will be disappointed. If you've never seen the show before, then give this lovely old theatre a go.

“Sadly dissapointed”

It is cramped and very hot in side and if they had a fire I really don't know how you would get everyone out! Very old and decor is shoddy.

A beautiful theatre with a good atmosphere. Had some improvements done in the last few years. Easy to find. Been to see Ballet and musicals here and thoroughly enjoyed them.

“A night at the opera”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

We went there to watch Don Giovanni - a little daunting but once you are in - not snobby at all! The subtitles on the screens at the side of the stage really help you to understand the story and the fact you can take drinks from teh bar really helped you relax while you were watching. the only downside was that thje seat were a little cramped to say the least - I am sorry if you were the girl in front of me who i kept making contact with - I didn't mean to!
