Like a recently posted review, we decided to have an early meal at Thai Aroy Dee before a visit to the theatre, being located just around the corner and having read the excellent reviews on TA. Any Thai restaurant full of thai people and having the specials menu exclusively in thai sounds good to me!!
The two ladies waiting on tables were very smiley and noticed straight away that we'd brought our own wine and was straight over with two wine glasses. Great service!
We weren't rushed in choosing from their extensive menu, and when the food came it was EXCELLENT. I've never been to Thailand but I'm guessing that it's very authentic as I have eaten at other Thai restaurants in Leeds and this has been by far the best so far. Just the right amount of heat for me, but I quite like spicy food (might not suit everyone).
We had two starters, two main courses, and rice, and were in and out in just over an hour (which was fine given we had later plans, but not the place to go to for a romantic meal). I can't wait to go back and try different things off of the menu. And for around £26, an absolute bargain.
