The rooms are a good size and the bed was nice and comfy for a good nights sleep. The location is perfect for a stay in Leeds too. That only makes it more frustrating that the negative points to this hotel are wholly avoidable but are the things that would make me pick a different hotel next time.
The bathroom needs some tlc, with a broken tap and a shower that's only setting was dribble providing an experience more akin to a Travelodge. On opening the minibar we were greeted by about 1/3 of the expected stock and the previous guest's half drunk bottle of wine. We asked for this to be tidied and restocked as we left for the evening and were told it would be sorted. Of course when we returned about 8 hours later it hadn't been touched.
The ice machine in the corridor was broken too, though ice was quickly provided to the room on request. Letting guests know things like this in advance rather than letting them traipse around the corridors would be simple and helpful. The TV also only had about 2 channels that worked, again only a minor blot but its the small things that add up. We made reception aware during our stay and on check out, they apologised and took details for the manager to call, which so far they have not done. It's all well and good building a beautiful hotel but if you're just going to ignore minor breakages and faults it'll soon become a place to avoid rather than relax in.

Very good hotel. Business Room with breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Easy for new Leeds arena and parking next to hotel which is great. Toiletries are good quality. We had to ask or robes and coffee but these came immediately.

Room Tip: Book through an agency to get a good deal. Light Parking is discounted

Stayed in Jul 2013 on business, just one night and unfortunately the hotel was full and I couldn't upgrade.

Good bits
+ great location, right in Leeds centre
+ parking, restaurants and entertainment, very central
+ friendly staff
+ rooms clean

Not so good
- Had an inside room (central atrium) in the third floor, very small room, felt very dingy. Looking at the floor plans, I had one of the smaller rooms, others looked bigger and external rooms look much better with a view.
- Hard to find parking; built up town centre, bad sat nav reception, drove past 3 times before finding where to go
- Safe will not take a laptop, very small

Stay again? Yes - but only with a bigger, outside room

Situated in the city centre. Its an impressive building.

Arrived to check in at 12pm and had to hang around until 2pm. Reception area very nice.

When I eventually go to check in i found the room to be quite nice. But noticed some building work on my floor which was quite unsightly. As i said the room was ok. The bed was large and comfortable..except for the pillows that is. I have no idea why decent hotels scrimp on pillows? If you cant sleep it surely sours the whole experience. Decent facilities..bathroom, wardrobe, cupboards were all good standard as you'd expect.
I didnt bother eating in, in the evenings as it was really expensive (especially alcohol!). Breakfast was standard fare..all very nice. My main gripe was that my room was facing an internal roof, so the windows were jammed (I hate that) and the air con was quite ineffectual. So alon with the awful pillows this meant i had terrible trouble sleeping. Maybe a room facing road side might have helped? I'll never know

Room Tip: Find out if your room is facing inwards, as if you like to feel a breeze or have fresh air..youire n...

For the time of the year the internal bedrooms were ridiculously warm. Air-conditioning was a must. Unfortunately, as soon as the air-con was on, you needed ear plugs to sleep. That said, the hotel was lovely - modern, clean, good facilities, spacious en suite bathroom, impressive breakfast, etc. Good location as well - right in the centre of Leeds. I can highly recommend the Radisson Blu without hesitation.

Quick flying visit so I didn't try breakfast or any facilities but the service was friendly and the room was of a pretty high standard for the price( £97 on a saturday).

Very nice bed, duvet and pillows!

Very good location for shops and nightlife.

Can't fault it. Definitely worth the extra few quid over a premier or holiday inn!

I've stayed at this fine Radisson hotel around half a dozen times now and haven't been disappointed at any time.
First class customer service whenever (I've booked events through work here too and they are always extremely helpful/professional).
Great looking reception - a few different styles of rooms - Italian, French renaissance to name but two but always great. Not your standard square bog-standard rooms - I believe this is an old insurance building so each room has a different style/size and layout which gives it a quirky feel.
Cleanliness - spot on
Location - a 5 minute walk from Leeds Railway station or parking at the Light (which is really expensive so I'd park elsewhere). There are loads of great eateries and pubs around here too.
Food - expensive as usual but very good.
All in all a fantastic hotel

Room Tip: To be honest - all rooms are just great
