Description: Pinche Pinche is a relaxed and fun restaurant. All our food is freshly prepared using authentic Mexican ingredients. With our inspiration drawn from the street food that is eaten every day throughout Mexico, this is food that is designed to be eaten with your hands so don't be shy - get stuck in! Hasta pronto!

We ate here last night as a friday night treat after work... and what a treat it was!
We did not book, however we were the first in but with most the tables booked out for other people we were managed to be squeezed in. After half an hour the place was packed, definately a good sign.
Service was great, very friendy and attentive, could not have asked for more.
Extensive menu, the decision of what to order was a hard one however we played it safe with nachos to share then a chimichanga and enchiladas. The food was amazing!
Can't get my head around the odd bad review for this place... IGNORE!
Our new favourite place, we will definitely be back!

I used to go to this place when it was Salsa Mexicana and it was great. However my wife and I went on Saturday and the staff were really friendly but the food was a big letdown. We got the nachos for starters; the cheese on it was that cheap nasty squirty cheese which was disgusting, if you wanted any vegetables on it you had to pay an additional £1.50. The shredded chicken in the Enchiladas de Tinga tasted like tuna. The only nice thing was the Chocolate fudge cake which was obviously bought in.

Had a great meal here. We turned up just before 8pm on a Sunday with out booking and they managed to squeeze us in just before the kitchen closed. My girlfriend has a nut allergy and the chef came out to talk to us about what was made using nuts which put us at ease. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The food was lovely. Duck fajitas. Amazing. Obvious thing to do when you think about it. The waiter told us that duck was a traditional meat for fajitas in Mexico. Fatty skin with pink meat marinaded in spices and citrus. What's not to like. Yum.
About a week earlier we'd been in London and visited Thomasina Miers Mexican Wahaca in Stratford which was great but this place pips it to the post for me.
Excellent.

Had previously been in this restuarant as Salsa Mexicana, and although enjoyed the ambience of the place, the food was starting to go a little downhill, and we stopped going. However, after trying it a couple of weekends ago under Pinche Pinche, we found the place still had the great rustic feel to the place, AND the food was wonderful. Mexican is definitely Back in Chapel Allerton!

Can't agree more with Jonathan McGee on the last review of Pinche Pinche. How can anyone rate it 1 out of 5? If you want REAL authentic Mexican street food, cooked by a Mexican chef then come and try this restaurant.
The key here is to experiment with dishes you may not normally have experienced. I ordered (and have since on my return visits) the cactus leaf and lamb tostada's, the beef Tlacoyos and all the Taco's (the prawns are a particular highlight!). The corn on the cob is exactly the way i remember them from the vendor when i was last in Jalisco.
The staff are a delight and they sell a fantastic selection of high quality tequila - try a Tommy's Margarita with agave nectar.
I suggest the negative reviews are by people that don't understand what real Mexican food is and order Chimichangas!
My average food spend here is around the £15 mark and never leave hungry. Very good VFM.
Enjoy!
