“Value for money”

I will like to say that, I stayed at The HighBank Hotel for a week in July and found it a real value for money but most importantly I found a very friendly staff. I will be staying there again.

Unbelievably, in fact comically bad. Checked in here before a friend's 30th and unfortunately there wasn't time to find anywhere else. This place is scarily bad - one female member of our group simply didn't use her room, the lecherous (illegal?) immigrants who block the staircases were too intimidating to risk encountering late at night. Our bizarre attic room (with 4 single beds instead of a double) was filthy, the door didn't even shut let alone lock. I slept fully clothed and left as quickly as possible the next day. When we tried to complain the boy/man behind the desk seemed baffled by us, I actually don't think he had the first clue. The worst hotel ever - even if it cost fiver a night it was still filthy, unsafe and just wierd. Any positive reviews are by the management. If it's being re-furbished this place should be shut down - not take people's money whilst they turn it into somewhere habitable!

We could not find the hotel. When we got there, there were very frightening looking women standing behind the desk. When we went up to our room we saw torn curtains, and a constant dripping tap that would not turn off. hen we turned it on it sounded like a drill. The bed was falling apart. When we went down to breakfast there was a very scary looking women standing to greet us.There were also a number of other terrible things. we will never come here again and will tell everyone about our terrrible holiday. We could not wait to leave!!

this hotel was 0 out of 100.
