We just spent a week cruising this canal after we hired a boat from the lovely little Snaygill Boatyard near Skipton. The staff were so helpful - we'd not done narrowboating before but we need not have worried. It was great fun.
We travelled down the stunning Bingley 5 Rise Locks (good fun but be prepared for long waits as boats take half an hour each way so if you arrive and find boats ahead of you there could be a 2 hour delay in your trip!!).
Make time too to go to the lovely Saltaire and the David Hockney gallery in the stunning old mill.
