We stayed at the Cosmopolitan on a Friday & Saturday night. The lift was broken. Our room was in need of urgent modernisation and a deep clean. The bathroom needed replacing it had obviously been subject to regular water damage! We had no hot water on the Friday evening.
The bar & restaurant area were very nice compared to the other communal areas! The staff were attentive, friendly and professional! They were the only good bit about our stay!
This hotel is very noisy!!! For 3 reasons. The rooms are not very soundproof, you can hear other guests talking etc. It is situated on a very busy road junction with many nightclubs around it. The clientele are mostly hen and stag parties that are in the party spirit no matter the time of night/morning!
There are other similarly priced hotels in the area and I would recommend that if you value a good nights sleep it's worth a few extra pounds!!!
