We stayed here for one night (2 adults, 1 child).
It's well located, about a 10-15 minute walk from the very centre, but handy for lots of other places nearby. When we got a taxi back to the hotel from the very centre, late at night on a weekday, it was £7.
The lady who dealt with us on reception was very pleasant, although there was some confusion regarding whether 2 or 3 people were staying, when our documentation showed we had correctly booked for 3. When we got to the room, the sofa bed had been set up as a bed already for the third person, as requested.
The parking was £6 per day. Not bad really, considering how expensive parking is in Leeds city centre. We noticed large variations in the prices for rooms on third party sites, so we'd advise money conscious people (which you're likely to be if booking a budget hotel) to keep an eye on this point.
The breakfast was excellent, but basic, befitting an "express" hotel. As veggies though, we were a bit disappointed to see the hot options were baked beans and scrambled egg but two meat options, bacon and sausages!
The main aspect of any stay for us is the sleep quality, cleanliness and bed comfort which were excellent.
All things considered, we're happy to recommend it and will probably be returning at some point if the prices are competitive!
