Visited yesterday with family (6 of us), we got a nice table outside easily ever though the park was packed. We were quickly asked if we wanted menus to look at however it was very expensive in our opinion and probably the reason why we got seated outside at lunch time so quickly. Most of us decided not to eat due to the food prices but in total we all ordered drinks, a kids meal, pancakes and a sandwich. About 20 minutes later, dying of thirst, the drinks came with the food. Very slow but there was also a wedding on the other side of the building which perhaps made it busy and thus having an effect on speed of service. Food was average, nothing special which is what was expected when paying £8 for a sandwich. Definitely wouldn't go back for a light lunch due to value however for dinner inside perhaps. Roundhay is a nice area and quite affluent so the prices are probably ok for the area, and the setting is very nice. Overall I'd say nice for drinks on a nice day but food is not worth the price unless you think £8 sandwiches and £14 salads are reasonable.
