This is somewhere for the kids and it's free. My granddaughter particularly enjoyed the Egyption exhibition, as she is studying this at school currently. There's plenty to see and do and the top floor was a 70's event, so they could see what their parents lived like and the toys the played with when they were their age.

Visited on a school trip Not sure the museum itself was very interesting to the age group we took.
Very disappointed that we had to eat our lunch in the theatre area. Can you imagine 20+ children eating lunch on very narrow tip up seats. We were given a black bin liner for our rubbish!!!
The afternoon egyptian activities were really good and the tutor very knowledgeable. Our group really enjoyed this.
Shop and cafe looked interesting.

This is a charming & informative museum, yet is a bit too small & feels stuffy in places. There could also be more exhibit space dedicated to Leeds & it's history etc.

This is quite a small museum for the size of the city but it's interesting and well set out. There are activities for children regularly, a good little shop and the cafe is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The soup is a very good budget option and they provide gluten free bread when required. It has floor to ceiling windows with views towards Millenium Square.

The artifacts are interesting and it is laid out well and easy to get to but it is quite small. The cafe is not worth the effort to q because over the road is revolution which do really good food.
