We had a gathering of a large group of family and friends for a birthday. The staff were very accommodating and efficient in every way, from the booking right through to the service of the meal itself. All our special requests were met.

Most importantly no-one seemed to flinch at the number of small children we brought with us
(9 all under 6 years old) and although there were plenty of adults to keep an eye on them there wasn't any sense that we were a problem or that our kidEven ones that claim to be

The layout lends itself well to large groups with kids as there's a large area in the back which spills out into an outdoor patio/sitting area, which is great for the kids to run around in.

The food and service was excellent. The staff very attentive and courteous. We stayed a good 3 hours and weren't made to feel like we'd outstayed our welcome.

A very positive experience all round. Will definitely return as will our friends.

We visited Gusto's for my 30th birthday on a Saturday evening. We booked online and were promptly seated at a table near the bar when we arrived. The restaurant was busy but had a good atmosphere. Staff were polite and attentive. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with some of our food. For starters we opted to share a tomato & basil pizza bread, when it arrived it was tomato & rosemary, you could not taste the basil if it was actually on there?! We asked our waiter if we could return the starter and have the tomato & basil pizza bread we ordered instead of the tomato & rosemary pizza bread we were given. The waiter seemed confused (...this is probably because tomato & rosemary pizza bread isn't an option on the menu) and returned the pizza bread to the kitchen. Our waiter returned to our table and we were told that the rosemary came with the garlic in the oil they used so all of the pizza breads came with rosemary. I find this hard to believe as many dishes on the menu had garlic listed as the ingredients and you definitely would expect to rosemary in all of them so I suspect that the chef was being awkward and not wanting to cook this dish fresh and instead serve up food that had all been prepped earlier that day. The mains courses were fine, my husband had the fillet steak which was cooked and seasoned beautifully. My lobster & king prawn spaghetti didn't warrant the £18.95 we paid for it as the lobster was pretty much non-existent, instead I'd recommend ordering the tagliatelle and garlic prawns for a more reasonable £10.95. My husband finished the meal off with a sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice-cream which he assured me was a good end to not such a great start. Unfortunately, I'm lactose intolerant so didn't get to sample this dish but it did look pretty delicious.

I'm not sure we'll be going there again as we're lucky to have a choice of restaurants nearby where the chefs serve up what's written on the menu and when you're paying £80 for two main courses, a dessert and a bottle of wine you expect to get what you pay for.

Went here early in the evening as we only booked the same day but were there for 2 hours eating and partying. Great staff and lovely food. Will be back. The wines were also good and went well with the menu. Plenty of tasty sea food as well as meat and pasta. Staff helpful for us bringing in our sons birthday cake and candles.

We arrived at Gusto early on a Tuesday evening, and this was just as well as it soon filled up, and we were shown to a nice table in conservatory type area.

They offer a wide variety of food in addition to the expected pizza and pasta. The quality of food was good, the prices were reasonable and the service was attentive.

Went sometime ago for Sunday lunch with the kids as they had a 50% off promotion. I'm not a big fan of Italian food and tried to stick to the specials/Mediterranean food all of which was excellent. Would definitely go again.
