This traditional country pub, now refurbished to a high standard. Tastefully decorated, comfortable furnishings, a relaxing venue for lunch or dinner.
We booked a table of 4 for Sunday Lunch, and it was a most enjoyable meal. The food was very tasty, good portions (although 2 of the ladies choose children's portions, which they found adequate) I had the the 35 day matured Beef, which was very tasty, and plenty of it.
We were served by a lovely lady, from Romania, who was very friendly and chatty, making the whole experience enjoyable.
One small point to mention is that, having booked on line, I did not receive any confirmation of booking, so then rang the next day to check that they had received it.
Overall, one of the best Sunday lunches in a long while, we will return.
