We visited as a group of 7 (4 adults, 3 children aged 9, 13 & 16). Great place to visit for a couple of hours and very reasonably priced. The tour was informative and the guide was cheerful and helpful. Great fun having their finger prints taken, trying on all the police uniforms being locked in a cell! The cafe looked bright and clean but we didn't use it. The nearest car park is only a few mins walk round the corner (I think it is called Scott Street carpark) plenty of spaces and only cost 50p per hour. They don't have a budget to advertise so doesn't seem to be well known which is a shame and hope they do atract enough vistors to keep it going in the future.

Took our 7 year old grandson, he loved every minute of the tour. Enjoyed trying uniforms, hats, etc. Listened to every word spoken by the guide, (ex Kent Police Officer) Being an ex copper I thought I would be bored, but found it interesting because of the ways in which Kent Police worked and the way we did things correctly in Lancashire. (Joking) well worth going. I will take the other 2 grandchildren soon. Thanks.

Fantastic time...our sons 8th Birthday party at the Police Museum...... They loved it. All staff were really helpful and went out of their way to make it a great party. The boys favourite part was the finger printing, but the cells and police uniforms came a close 2nd.
Food was fantastic and again the staff were great too. Excellent service from our first enquiry over the phone to the end of the party.
Highly recommended
Thank you so much

Well worth a visit! The tour is great as it has a good mix for every age group. It is both informative and enjoyable. The kids loved being able to be "hands on" trying on uniforms, using microscopes and especially having their finger prints taken. Our tour guide Cathy was brilliant! Exceeded our expectations.
