On arriving at Amici's the staff were very welcoming, we plumed for the early bird menu which seemed quite reasonable. Our party total consisted of 6, 3 adults and 3 children, the children's menu was sufficient £5.95 for two courses however the Margareta pizzas after finishing one of them off was quite bland (no garlic etc) I suppose you expect this for a children's meal.
Adult starters,x2 garlic mushrooms quite tasty but felt could of being tinned not fresh, Bruschetta x1 was very bland and missing the Italian kick, the main courses x2 calzone pizzas and x1 lobster ravioli, both calzones lacked lustre and taste the filling seemed to be in segregated lumps not evenly spread which resulted in many singular tastes not one overall experience the tomato sauce accompaniment also lacked taste surely this should be infused with garlic, mixed spices etc, my mum had the lobster ravioli which generated no complaints tasty and well worth the money. Overall a very busy restaurant at a reasonable cost which most people seem to enjoy, there's always room for improvement in our view more garlic and intense flavours make the whole Italian flavours. We would return to try different dishes. Many thanks
