We have just returned from an one night stay in the Sanctuary Spa room. It was a last minute night away and I am so glad that we decided to stay at this hotel. From the moment we pulled up we could not fault the hotel. There were great parking facilities and we were greeted and shown around the hotel before being taken to our lovely room. The room décor was lovely and it was even better when we headed outside to our own private area complete with a hot tub.

The location of the hotel was brilliant, it was only a short walk to the village and the local pubs. The owner was even kind enough to let us leave our car parked in the car park the next day so we could have another walk into the village.

This was our first visit to Haworth and the Ashmount Country House but we will certainly be planning to return very soon.

Room Tip: A room with a hot tub is a must!

We had always wanted to visit Bronte Country and stay in an old fashioned but sumptuous country home. Ashmount did not disappoint! . The room was like a mini Downton Abbey version. Great views over the garden and beyond. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We devoured the lovely Yorkshire breakfasts!. Everything was freshly prepared and locally produced. Out of this world! Would not hesitate to come again! Jan

Room Tip: Greenwood Room had views to die for!

We chose this hotel last minute as we were looking for a room with a hot tub, we weren't disappointed. The staff on arrival made us feel so welcome, showed us around and to our room which was lovely. The little extras in the room were great and the room was amazing well worth the money. My first time in a hot tub was amazing, totally secluded in our little garden and so peaceful. We ate in the restaurant and had a fantastic meal, I would recommend this place to anyone. The village was so quaint and the people were lovely too worth a visit.

Room Tip: If you want peace and quiet this one is the one.

We stayed here for 2 nights midweek in the serenity spa room so got this at half the normal price.

There was only a few other people here so the place was very quiet which is fine with me.
The serenity spa room is tiny, there is just enough room at the bottom of the bed to squeeze past while walking on the hearth of the fireplace. This really did bug me especially because glasses and sherry had been placed on the mantelpiece and I was just waiting to knock them off. This was my main problem with the room.
The bathroom was ok, quite standard but very cold and the shower with jets didn't work correctly, the jets just dribbled water from them so turned them off and just used it as a normal shower.
The conservatory was pleasant and necessary because of the size of the room, a big window overlooked the car park.
The hot tub was wonderful and the saving grace of the room and the sauna worked fine just not my cup of tea. Slippers and robes provided but the slippers were clearly quite worn and washed out which, for the price of the room isn't what you would expect.
The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean.
I would stay there again just not in that room and there is no way I would pay the full price it's just not worth it.
The village is a 5-10 min walk away but it is a very steep hilly area, especially in the village itself.
It might sound like I didn't enjoy it, I did and would return but I don't think the room was as special as it should have been.

We stayed in the Serenity Spa room at Ashmount Country House for a mini-break following our wedding and couldn't have asked for a more relaxing couple of days. Everything was just right; from the complimentary sherry to the brilliant hot tub! The staff bent over backwards to help us, with the manager even managing to guess when we'd arrive back from dinner on the second night so our pre-ordered bottle of prosecco was waiting in the room for us! A wonderful place, in a wonderful setting with wonderful staff. I would recommend to anyone and will definitely return!

Room Tip: Go for one with a hot tub! Well worth the extra money

We had a great meal at Ashmount. The service was excellent as was the food. Would recommend a visit if staying in Haworth. Although we didn't stay there was a room to view which looked lovely, tempting us to stay next time.

One of the most chilled out weekends. We picked this as a place to get to quickly from manchester for a weekend break. We were greeted by the owner Ray who is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the honeypot room with an enormous four poster which was so comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in the room with fresh milk rather than those awful UHt packets. Dinner in the evening was fantastic and like eating at home but being cooked and served by someone else. Breakfast sets you up for the day.
Thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay and will definitely stay again and recommend it .
Haworth and the bronte stuff was pretty good too!

Ashmount manages to sympathetically combine modern day amenities (such as wi-fi, hot tub) with many of the original features that the Bronte Sisters would have much admired.
