“Good Value Pub Food”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

Booked a table for 4 for evening meal. The service was quick and efficient, the staff friendly. A good choice on the menu. I ordered a pasta dish from the specials board which was very tasty and well presented. For the price good value. I would certainly eat at the Old Hall again, most enjoyable.

“Pleasant surprise”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

Late afternoon, last Monday, on a day-trip to Haworth, but too early for dinner in the Old Registry, we discovered instead Haworth Old Hall, opposite the SW corner of Central Park.

We parked easily in the off-street car park, and found plenty of seating in the far room of the restaurant, next to an old fireplace with a stone lintel.

We were promptly served, and the food was surprisingly very good: cod loin was tender and flavoursome and duck breast perfectly cooked (not TOO pink, like the tv chefs seem to do it!).

One starter, two mains, one sweet and two drinks added up to £43, which made the enjoyable meal economically priced, too.

Next time in Haworth, we'll be sure to try Old Hall again.

“Last call”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

Last call of the night was to Haworth old hall so may be unfair to judge this pub too much. However I just felt it didn't match up the the others we visited during the night. The tables hadn't been cleaned and the toilets smelt of nappies. However it was a Saturday and it had been busy as the weather had been nice so I won't be put off going back. The pub has loads of caracter and I can imagine in the winter with the fire roaring its the place to be.

only stopped for a drink after visiting Haworth, so can't comment on food, but the building looks good, perfect location at the bottom of the main street, opposite the park. A large garden with plenty of picnic tables overlooking the valleys and lower town. If the weathers good, it's an ideal spot for a relaxing drink, though it's very popular and quite busy. Good choice of beers on tap.
