The cottage we stayed in was lovely and spacious and had great views of the countryside. The children especially loved the garden and grounds. The only down sides were no wi-fi, moaning kids (!!) and no hot water in the kitchen, but the dishwasher was an added bonus, no washing up :-)
Colin was a great host and very helpful providing info on the local area. Many thanks. :-)
Thank you Colin. We had a lovely stay in the cottage which allowed us to visit friends living in Leeds. It had everything we needed and was a lovely space. Would hesitate to stop again.
Easy to find and a warm welcome from the owner, Colin. Lovely farm shop at the top of the road. Quiet and rural location but easy to get to other places and the main road network. Most things that we needed had been thought of; stair-gates would have been useful as there are no doors between any of the downstairs living spaces. Comfortable and warm (too warm at times). A bit noisy from neighbouring properties but to be expected I guess with what is essentially a terraced property. Also a very noisy fridge but no sign of how to turn it off! Suited us just fine for a night's stay and we would definitely consider returning if we were in the area again. Thank you for making us feel welcome, Colin.
Stayed here from 27th December till 3rd January 2016. An amazing beautiful barn conversion really warm , welcoming, spacious and with all the facilities needed for a family of 5 although there was 8 of us eating at the property on an evening and still had plenty of room.. Would have no problems recommending this property to anyone. Reviews in visitors book also recommend this high quality property. The views over the city with all the lights shining was just a bonus to our New Year Eve.
