Living in Bradford we usually visit many of the Indian restaurants the City has to offer however we had family visiting us from Newcastle so was looking for something different. I stumbled across Cyrus Mediterranean on Tripadvisor and decided to give it a go.
When the five of us arrived we were greated by a waiter and shown to the large table under the window, It is quite a cosy place which was probably once a house.
We ordered our food with two of the group are vegetarians and there was a good selection for them, All the starters were lovely, The main courses arrived and again all the dishes were excellent except my partners food (kleftiko) was stone cold in the middle, she called the waiter over and he appologised and took the plate away - we thought they would probably stick it in the microwave for a few minutes but they actually made a new one which was piping hot, they gave her a free drink and also took the Kleftiko off our final bill.... which was very nice of them.
Desserts were lovely especially the fudge cake and bubblegum ice cream....
the total bill for 5 people starters, mains, 3 desserts and countless alcoholic drinks came to 82 pounds which we thought was excellent value,
It was a very nice change and we will return again soon
