Visited this pub for lunch last week with some friends. All the starters of different types of pate were very good. For main course, three of us had the Haddock and Chips. This was a sizeable portion. The fish was very white and fresh with a relatively thin layer of beer batter. The chips were chunky and cooked just right. My only slight issue was with the mushy peas. The other member of our party had a tuna steak, which was a bit on the dry side. We had no room for dessert. The service overall was efficient and friendly. I would definitely go back there.
