Having been a pub previously the external look of the building isn't inviting but inside it has been transformed into a pleasant restaurant. We only had main courses and drinks. No complaints about the quality of the food we had. Service by very young staff was good.
If you're in the area and fancy an "Italian" give Dom a try.

Two of us and we decided to share a starter of garlic bread with mozzarella. This was actually 3 small slices for just under £4. Quite bland so would not bother again as could not even taste the garlic. Himself had calzone and I had piccante pizza. Both nice and we would buy again and we agreed a good size for £8.95 each. The house red although tasty was overpriced at £15. We saw the dessert menu but having seen the serving size on another table decided that it just was not good value. We will return but only for main course.

Went here the other evening with friends. The interior is very nice and contemporary. The staff were friendly and explained that nearly all the dishes could be done gluten free. The menu is extensive and prices were reasonable. The food had mixed reactions from us. I had the duck which wasn't bad but I have had better and one of us had steak which was tough. Overall its OK and we will go back. There were plenty of staff but once or twice the service was slow. I asked for a glass of wine just after we had finished our starters and it arrived just after I had finished my main.

This restaurant opened just two or three months ago less that a mile from my home, Its had a complete refurbishment from the pub it used to be. It is light and fairly spacious,
The food is good Italian Cuisine. The prices are reasonable and the staff very welcoming and show great concern that everything meets your expectations.
Last night it was about half full but I'm fairly sure you'll need to book in the future as people find out about.
It's a nice surprise to find a new independent Italian just down the road

This is a new restaurant in the area run by an Italian family. They have taken over what used to be a pub (The Lively lady) and transformed the inside into a contemporary Italian restaurant and I believe they have done a very good job. This is quite a large restaurant with 2 distinct areas.

We visited the restaurant Sunday lunchtime with some friends. The area in front of the bar was very busy, but there was still room in the area to the right of the bar. The appeared to have sufficient staff on duty which showed as the service was good during our meal. Some of the staff were quite young and it showed especially with one of them, But, we all have to start somewhere and I am sure with a little more experience her confidence will grow.

There is a good choice from the menu. We wondered if there was actually too much choice, but we managed to choose our starters and main courses.

For starters we had Calamari Fritti, Carpaccio di Manzo which were both very good. However, we did have a problem with the 2 other starters, the Rucula con Carcciofi (exchanging the artichoke with avocado) & Insalata Ticolore The avocado served with these 2 starters was hard and rubbery and should not have been served to customers. Just as we were discussing the problem the younger waitress asked was everything OK with the meal and we advised of the problem with the avocado and she said they will be taken off the meal and she would let the chef know.

As the main courses were served the manageress came over and started to discuss the issue and offered to take £4 off a bottle of wine. We suggested this was not sufficient as 2 starters were affected and asked that we discuss this after we have eaten. When we paid the bill, the manageress agreed to take off the cost of 1 starter which we agreed was fair.

As we left the restaurant our friends booked a table for a family dinner and we also booked a table for another evening.

The feedback from the group was the food and service was really good and very reasonably priced and those comments included cost of a bottle of house wine. We would recommend this restaurant and will be going back.
