I will never forget the beef and oxtail pie as long as I live. This was food to die for, such a shame it's another estate agents. I miss it very much!

Hornet Provisions is no longer a restaurant and delicatessen and is now Crossmeads Estate Agents. As a result the food isn't so good!

Nice Deli but could be so much better, last two visits did not have what I wanted in stock. It is very frustrating supporting businesses that do not try to stock produce. Its no wonder we all just return to Supermarkets.

Jerry & I popped in for a light lunch. The wine (a Chilean Chardonnay) was crisp and fruity. The soup was a delightful steaming bowl of chichen/ham/chorizo and beans, accompanied by a generous wedge of toasted artisan bread. We watched as John (the proprietor) cooked behind the counter. Totally absorbed by the process, unhurried and thoughtful. It was like watching a master craftsman at work! A memorable lunch for two came to £26:00. Fantastic value, and Hornet Provisions is also open on Sundays for bacon butties & coffee, and the sale of bric a brac. Don't miss out - go early! We loved it!

guy's do yourself a favour if you haven't been here, go. If like me you like something different or an alternative to the run of the mill multiple outlets hornet provisions is a great little kitchen café. the food is prepared right in front of you from a menu that is different every time you visit. for me eating out should be an experience whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner not just paying someone to cook something you could do better at home but cant be bothered, eating food that you don't have to worry where or how it was produced. this guy can cook, so whether its taking the partner for lunch, meeting guys/girls for breakfast or maybe a more interesting venue for business lunch. try it out.
