park in carpark(free) and walk down marked path to woods,be ready to be amased.there are many paths you can take so take time to study the board at entrance to woods great views and even Roman ruins and early man earth works to find can be a bit of a climb to top of hill but worth it,warning keep clear of deer and stags in mating season

With living quite close to Kingley, i like to make the most of what it has to offer.
There are some truely stunning views over Chichester and the downs from the top. It has many tracks and paths for all leisure pursuits for you to follow so you never really have to take the same one twice.
If you enjoy the outdoors, then you will like what Kingley has to offer.

Fabulous views, although a little slippery in heavy rain? Great place to walk the dogs on-lead with clearly sign posted footpath.

Maybe the oldest living organisms in the world are to be found in Kingley Vale. Some of these relics of a bygone age, used originally to make long bows, may be 2000 years old, and they live on still in the tranquil W Sussex countryside

Just a great place to go and walk, can be easy or challenging depending on the route you take, and the views at the top are a great reward for the effort of getting there!
