I stay in a lot of hotels for work and leisure and this self catering cottage was very overpriced in relation to the quality of the accommodation.
The setting is nice, we arrived at night and took 20 minutes to find our accommodation as there weren't any lights on, quite dangerous as our cottage was down some steps and we were carrying bags.
Overall the cottage was adequate size, compact, some may find small if staying for a long period of time, it was fine for our 2 nights.
The property needs updating and refurbishing, fixtures and fittings are old fashioned and in some cases dangerous. The bedroom and lounge smelt of damp and walls were damp. The avocado bathroom had limited headroom as did the lounge, this was not mentioned in the description.
The kitchen was basically well equipped, However, the oven door opened out into the only way to walk through the lounge to the stairs, the boiler was leaking into electrical equipment which was stored underneath it which was very alarming.
Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here.More
