“Good weekend break”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

We spent a very pleasant weekend here whilst attending a Ladies Festival. Our room was comfortable and spacious and looked newly decorated in inoffensive shades of creams and beige. The bed had a memory foam mattress which was more comfortable than expected. The staff are friendly and efficient and the events and entertainment organised as part of the Ladies Festival were excellent. The food at the events was very good as were the buffet style breakfasts.

On the down side, there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms or in the banqueting rooms which was something that several other guests commented on. The spa facilities are perfectly adequate but the area is quite small and I would have been disappointed if I had booked this hotel specifically for the spa. Hotel guests have to use the bath towels from their rooms in the spa which was surprising.

All in all a very enjoyable weekend which exceeded expectations. Good value for money - I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions through working away from home. The check-in is qick and easy, the rooms spacious enough as hotels go and the breakfast is out of this world for a full english as it is normally buffet style. The staff are very friendly and courteous and nothing is too much trouble.I dont user the gym or pool facilities but they must be pretty good as there is a constant stream of people who do use it.I would recommend booking this hotel if you are staying in or near Chichester.ELL DONE THE STAFF AT THE HOTEL.

Room Tip: Book a room near to the front of the hotel if you are a wheel chair user

I had not stayed at this hotel before but was very pleased with it as I used it last week to stay in overnight for dinner, bed and breakfast, plus I had booked an event room for a funeral reception for the following day, the food was fantastic, all my guests remarked on how good it was, we had a wonderful three course meal the evening before too. I fully recommend it and would stay again. Perfectly situated for a funeral reception as only a few minutes down the road from Chichester Crematorium .

We stayed overnight for Valentine's day present to each other. The staff were friendly but the room was clean but the bed looked something out of Victorian times. As we stayed on the top floor the floor was squeaky and the walls paper thin. We used the Spa facilities and the swimming pool had far too much chlorine in it, as we only used it for half hour and my face was totally red. You have to take your towels from the room and there is no shower in the changing room.

Room Tip: Don't get a room on the top floor as the floors are squeaky. The swimming pool has too much Chlo...

We had a super time at the Chichester Park Hotel in January when we hosted a charity ball - the customer service was excellent, the food was extremely good value for money and the evening entertainment fabulous. Those of us that stayed overnight enjoyed the facilities in the leisure suite and the beauty rooms and a very good selection at breakfast. This is the third occasion we have used the hotel for a function; we will be using it again and are happy to highly recommend it.

The service and help of the hotel staff is very good, the food and bar service is very good, but the rooms are terrible! .... the floor boards are very noisy, the beds are very un-comfortable and the walls are wafer think through which you can here everything that goes on either side including the slightest of chat and people using the toilet. I didn't sleep for longer than 20 minutes due to noise level and will not be using the hotel again without a good pair of noise reduction ear-plugs!

We stumbled across this gem after our original accommodation fell through. When we arrived at the hotel we were feeling pretty down as we had visited Chichester for a girly break. When we went to check in we were made to feel very welcome by the receptionist who knew that one of us was celebrating a birthday and immediately produced cupcakes. The hotel was clean and welcoming; we had a lovely twin room. Our plans had been spoilt by the earlier events of the evening so we decided to dine in the season’s restaurant and had a 3 course meal for a very reasonable price. The food was lovely we both enjoyed every single course. We will definitely be recommending this place to others. The evening ended on a high note. We loved the hotel so much that we came away already arranging our return for a girly weekend.
