On our first visit to this lovely gallery we had lunch in their restaurant and were really delighted with the experience. It is quite a small space and a little spartan but with an interesting street scene or inner courtyard to look out on. i would recommend booking in advance as they seemed busy.
The menu was diverse enough to cater for vegetarian, fish and meat eaters. The three types of homemade bread suggested the kitchen knew what they were doing and we were not disappointed. Our starter salads were generous, well dressed and presented. The main course was superbly cooked fish on a crab risotto with a lobster sauce. Two courses, with a glass of very palatable House red wine were reasonably priced. Coffee to conclude was good and came with a perfect little homemade meringue.
Service was friendly, efficient and unobtrusive.
We shall definitely return to both the gallery and this lovely lunch space.
