We spent a very enjoyable hour or so wandering and they have done a great job displaying the mosaics and the remains that they have. The model showed what it may have looked like and it is a shame that they could not attempt a "reconstruction" of the wing that they have. Well worth a visit

It is a lovely place but lots of schools parties with kids running around not very interested in it and we went for the relaxing walk, also said on the internet that entry price was £4.80 we got there and it was £9.00 each

At least a half days worth of attraction. Worth following the free guided tour to make sense of this palace and it's several hundred year evolution. A good attraction for both rainy and sunny days. Photography is allowed and there is a cafe on site.

My wife and I spent a whole afternoon here enjoying the small but extremely informative museum and the lovely mosaics, which were really interesting. Staff great and facilities excellent.

We happened upon this on our way to Portsmouth, picking up a brochure in Chichester which is close by and also worth a visit.
The Roman villa at Fishbourne, the biggest in the UK, is well presented and preserved. An introductory look around the museum set us up for two interesting and informative tours with Gordon Hayden, who was so knowledgeable without being boring!!. Each tour lasted half an hour and were different, and as he was so interesting on the first one we had a coffee and went back for the second!! What you see is only a quarter of the villa, the rest is underneath the village, but has some amazing mosaics, for this country, and interesting stories to go with them too.
Top tip: English Heritage members get in for half price.
