It was over 30 years since I last visited this attraction. It was rather wonderful then, but now it is absolutely outstanding. Where else, for one entry fee, do you see a detailed exhibition of the way of life in the Palace? Have the option to enjoy 2 fascinating tours explaining the mosaics? Watch a 15 minute video about the Palace? Walk around the recreation of the adjoining Roman garden? See the model that shows the original extent of the Palace? Be free to wander along the walkways, admiring the details of the mosaics at your leisure? And, most exciting of all, be able to handle pieces of pottery, thousands of years old, from the Palace?
This was a wonderful afternoon visit, in a large, airy venue, on a chilly Spring day. Definitely worth a visit.
