We stayed at the Clock House via Air B&B as we were invited to Goodwood for the car racing and all the hotels were full. We are so happy they were! Rachel the owner was wonderful from booking, all the way through and post our weekend. She has done up the house beautifully (everything is new) with thoughtful little touches everywhere (our names were written in whit chocolate on a fruit and muffin plate!). The White Company dressing gowns were a lovely plus. The bed is also insanely comfortable! The house is so well stocked you hardly need take anything but seeing as it is about 3 minutes walk from Marks and Spencers on Chichester high street you can easily pop in for anything. You can also walk to the house from the station and as it's only 1.5hrs from Victoria it really is a perfect weekend away. We are already planning our next trip! It is better than a five star hotel!

My husband and I stayed here in february and we are so glad we did! The location is amazing, really close to the shops and restaurants, yet we were suprised at how quiet it was, a real little sanctary. On arrival it was lovely to have somewhere secure to park, right outside the property and the gorgeous little courtyard was beautifully presented and we enjoyed coffee sat outside there the next day. Inside was stylish yet really warm and cosy and one of the big highlights for us was the lovely wood burner that we enjoyed lighting and reading our books next to that night. Throughout the property everywhere was immaculate and inviting with wonderful attention to detail which made our stay really comfortable. I was a big fan of the local chocolates and the coffee machine made excellent fresh coffee. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we needed and more! Upstairs the bedroom was beautifully decorated and as immaculate as downstairs. The exposed beams and lovely views onto the little courtyard and street were stunning.I really fell in love with it even before trying out the bed which gave me one of the best night's sleep I've had! The bathroom was lovely with an excellent shower and the bath products a real treat. In the morning, just to top it all off, we enjoyed the feast of all breakfasts delivered in a hamper from a local restaurant with literally everything you could imagine to make the perfect full English, totally delicious! Overall I cannot recommend the clockhouse more highly, we had the most relaxed stay and left feeling very refreshed after such a lovely time there.
