We had a celebratory family meal here over the Easter weekend. As an extended family we often eat in Chinese restaurants and have experienced some that cope well with larger groups and others that fail dismally. Fortunately this one did very well. It was a busy evening but we were waited on attentively. Our three courses were well-paced which is a success in our book. The food was fresh tasting and good examples of some standard Chinese dishes. Not enough spring onion or sauce for the duck pancakes - but this is a fairly routine experience - by the time the extras have arrived it is always too late. As often happens we felt a bit bullied into drinking wine up so that we could be embarrassed into ordering one more bottle tan we would have had normally. However despite these minor faults it was a very good evening - and we will go again when we're next in Sussex!
