Booked the whole place for a 4 night stay to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday. Super place with fantastic facilities. The accommodation was huge and even though their was 20 of us there was always plenty of space for everyone. We arranged a supermarket delivery so we didn't have to go shopping. There was an indoor swimming pool and a sauna (paid extra for this). There was also a hall (normally used by the owner for yoga) that we played team games in on a rainy afternoon. The gardens and patio area are beautiful and it is only a 20 minute walk into lovely Arundel itself. All in al we had a fantastic weekend here and would most definitely go back

We booked the whole property as a family get together to celebrate our Mums 80th Birthday.
We hired Brooklands for 4 nights over a bank holiday weekend. We wanted to make the most of the Bank Holiday weekend so staying for the Monday night was a great option.
The property itself is huge. But the comfort it offered made it feel cosy.
The views from the garden into Arundel are breathtaking, you can see the castle and cathedral. We took a stroll into the charming town itself and hopped into a taxi back as it would have been too much of a walk for Mum.
The house itself is very well equipped, the only shortage was perhaps a few more baking trays.
The beds, bedding and pillows were very comfy. Toiletries provided in all bathrooms. I found the shower pressure a little slow in the en-suite, so just used the shower downstairs, which was fantastic.
We spent the whole weekend playing family games and had bought with us a selection of games, for indoors and outdoors. We also bought some cycles with us which the fitter ones in the group found great for riding the country lanes.
We enjoyed the use of the pool and sauna very much and covering the pool when not in use was not an issue....very quick to do.
We all agreed that the memories we created over our celebration weekend will be treasured by all. From the youngest aged 3 to the oldest aged 84.
Stunning property in beautiful surroundings.

We stayed as a group of 4 families, 8 adults and 7 under 5’s. We were meat by the owner who spent plenty of time showing us around, the barn was clean and well presented.

There was plenty of space for the children to run around and for all of the families not to be on top of each other for the duration of the stay.
The facilities were great perfect for huge games of hide and seek, the court yards are enclosed and large therefore safe for the children to ride there bikes around. The children also loved going in the swimming pool (Spent more time trying to get them out than anything else.)

While we were there the children had a little party in the yoga room and broke and ornament, when we mentioned this to the owner on leaving she was very nice and told us not to worry.

If I had to make one criticism, it would be that one of the wings housing 3 bedrooms is cut off from the rest of the house. It is only a hop across the court yard but with young children we did not want to leave them over there on there own in the evenings. It would have been nice to have the internal access opened up through the main house to access this area.

That said we had more than enough room with out using this area!

In conclusion we are very happy with our stay and already working out when we can find a time to book another trip.

This place is great for hosting large groups or extended families - loads of space for everyone, all rooms en suite or with their own bathroom - in combination, everyone was very well accommodated! The pool and courtyard facilities are beautiful too, and there is an awesome view of Arundel Castle. A really great place to stay to explore Sussex!

Room Tip: All great! Ask for the floorplan for accessibility etc.

As a large group of friends (20) getting together to celebrate we were looking for something impressive and Brooklands certainly didn't disappoint. It is an absolutely stunning property and worked perfectly for what we needed. It is rare to find something this size with no compromises, we could all fit around the table, we all sat together in the lounge and outside enjoying the incredible views. Both inside and outside spaces are done to perfection and the new sauna next to the swimming pool is a real treat! I also have to mention Claire (the owner) who is a lovely lady and couldn't have helped and supported us more with all our questions and requests in the run up to the weekend. I will definitely be coming back!
