Having spent a leisurely Saturday afternoon in the Town Wall Tavern, myself and three friends decided that a curry would be a fitting end to our afternoon.
The usual discussion debating where to go ensued until one friend said, let’s try Mint. We all knew where it was but none of us had ever been before. What a pleasant surprise. An immaculately clean and welcoming restaurant. It was early so there was not a problem getting a table. We were greeted and seated by a very friendly waiter. We ordered a beer but were informed that they did not have a drinks licence and if we wished could bring our own. However, totally free of charge we were given some beers that previous customers had left.
We had the usual Poppadoms with pickles etc., a starter each and a main course accompanied by various rice and nan breads all for under £20 each.
We found the food to be of exceptional quality and agreed it was one of the best curries we had had in Coventry.
By the time we left the restaurant was full. If you are thinking of going it is probably advisable to book.
