Just returned from Barnacle Hall following a one night stay with 2 work colleagues and occupied 3 rooms between us and feel this B&B well deserves its 5 star rating. The building and all 3 bedrooms are sensational - huge and full of interest and history combined with a few modern touches like new Sony flat screen TVs. It is the building that really makes this the place to stay in the area because it is so wonderful so why stay somewhere ordinary - just up the road are faceless and dull buildings occupied by the likes Marriot and Holiday Inn that charge more and give so much less. Also Rose, the owner, is welcoming, friendly and professional. We stayed on business and this is perfect for the business traveller who wants something different and interesting, but would be a wonderful romantic retreat for couples and big enough for families. We paid £140 for three individuals to occupy 3 huge double rooms and it's worth every penny. I think double occupancy is around £70 - £80 a room and again a great price to stay in a fascinating building of antiquity.

Beautiful, quiet bed and breakfast in the Coventry countryside. Rose, the owner, is really friendly and helpful and the bed and breakfast is absolutely spotlessly clean!

If you searched the world to find a better establishment it would be in vain. This brilliantly run bed and breakfast had me wanting to stay forever. In fact I look forward to my next 12000 miles plane journey from New Zealand just to have a few days in Barnacle Halls stunning environment. This I might add is understated.

Stayed here with our son on the eve of moving him into Coventry Uni. Decided against staying in one of the city centre chain hotels in favour of some thing a little different. Only ten mins drive from city centre. The interior is incredible, lovely old beams beautiful windows and a wonderful hostess. Breakfast was very good too. Can thoroughly recommend.
