Lovely clean room but the bed was nowhere near as comfortable as other premier inns we've stayed in, newly refurbished rooms so think must be a cheaper mattress they're using, could actually feel the springs in it. Should really have took them up on their good night's sleep promise. The breakfast at TGI Fridays next door is definitely one to be avoided, virtually every piece of crockery and cutlery I picked up was covered in dried food debris, disgusting. Quality of the food was below standard, tinned tomatoes, mushrooms and sausage tasted strange, bacon looked like it had been cooked in dirty oil, toast machine not working properly, need I go on ?

Stayed in this premier Inn last night en route to Essex. Travelled with 83 year old grandfather. 2 rooms cost 46 each on a Saturday night.

Very friendly And helpful reception staff (offered to take our bags if we wanted to too !) Spotless hotel, one of the biggest sized rooms for premier inn that I've stayed in.

Slight problem as fire alarm was going off at 1230am in the night. Everyone had to evacuate and stand outside in the freezing cold. This was a bit chaotic and it took them 20 mins after we evacuated to check everyone's room no to check everyone was out (this was as they were letting everyone back in !!).

They had no idea what caused the alarm to go off. As a result my grandfather couldn't sleep again because of the disturbance and I was awake half the night worrying that he wasn't sleeping ! This wasn't obviously the hotels fault !

Got up the next morning to a letter pushed under the door apologising for the disturbance and explaining that the fire alarms very sensitive. I appreciated the note.

On checkout they apologised profusely without prompt and asked whether we had managed to get back to sleep. I explained that we hadn't (as above) and again, unprompted, we were offered a full refund with their "good night guarantee".

Amazing service, no quibble refund and faultless except for slight chaos on re-entering after evac but not worth marking them down on!

Took other Trip Advisors advice and swerved breakfast in TGIs next door and drove over the road to Fayre and Square Cocked Hat as suggested. Please note that breakfast is no longer held in the main pub but in the little hotel they have on the left right at the bottom of the carpark.

£7.50 gets you a full English (freshly cooked to order) and as much as you want toast, crumpets, croissants, muffins and cereal etc etc. couldn't fault it. Very helpful, friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to use both again on next trip to the area.

Request odd numbered rooms on 1st floor in hotel to overlook the carpark. The other side of hotel (evens) overlooks the rather busy A46 and I think that you would hear a lot of road noise

The Room - was clean the only issue i had was that the extract fan within the on suite bathroom was so loud that i was unable to stay in there for more than a minute.

The restaurant 'Fridays' next door where i had breakfast was awful, very slow service, no spoons to eat the cereal. I had to remind the staff to take my order for the cooked breakfast and then it was along time coming. When it did I don't know where the yoke of the egg got to and the small sauage meat had escaped either end of the sauage and was burnt.

Personally i would book into the Premier inn Coventry South (A45).

Room Tip: Personally i would book into the Premier inn Coventry South (A45).

We stopped at this hotel as part of a long journey from Blackpool to Norwich.
Arriving quite late and the receptionists were very friendly and helpful, even offering to order us a takeaway as the resturant was stopping selling food for the night.
As always the rooms were clean and tidy and had eveything you need, including a huge TV on the wall!
The room was lovely and cool as the previous premier inn we stayed in was very hot.
Good price, nice and comfy too.
This hotel is next to a TGI and a large Morrisons, Boots, Asda, Next and much more.

Large, clean rooms, comfy beds, clean bathrooms - what more could you want at £29.00 per room? I don't think you can beat Premier Inns frankly and have no time for people who complain that they're 'characterless'. Clean and comfy beats character any day!

Good value for money. Clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking. Next to TGI's if you want quick food. At £50 per night I consider this good value. Would not recommend for long stays but good for passing through travellers.

Like Premier inn as we can come and go as we like. Comfy room, quiet night. What more do you need?
Breakfast, previous review suggests Morrisons, rather than TGI's. We followed the advice, but used the Toby Carvery - even cheaper than morrisons cooked breakfast - help yourself!
All in all great stay, friendly staff.
