“A true hidden gem!”
Reviewed August 3, 2014 via mobile

I'm a big music fan who's lived in the Coventry area for years yet it's only recently I've heard about this place. From the review's it sounded like my kind of place and I wasn't disappointed.

Great selection of memorabilia, knowledgeable staff, interactive and fun. A great place to spend a few hours for all ages, whether you're local or visiting the area.
We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome & I'm sure we'll be making another visit soon.

This place deserves all the support it can get so if you haven't already popped down, make it a priority!

“A musical education”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

The museum is a real hidden gem in the heart of coventry. Being local and having never visited before I can honestly say this is a must see for any music fan. The museum has an array of exhibits with a focus on two-tone, giving a real immersive feel. The knowledge and willingness of Pete to spend time talking to every visitor really made this a memorable experience. First visit but certainly not the last!

“A fantastic hidden gem...”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

I have visited the museum a couple of times now and it really is a fantastic place to spend an hour or two immersing yourself in the huge depth and quality of music that Coventry has given to the world.

Although someone of my age (eerrmm...40something) will probably be looking to reminisce in the Early 80's / 2 Tone exhibits, there is a lot more to explore. As an example I had heard about the work of Delia Derbyshire, but after seeing her original tape machine on display & talking to some of the voluntary and very knowledgeable helpers I was inspired to find out more.

As well as the museum there are shops selling memorabilia and a couple of places to get a bite to eat. Wherever you were it was impossible not to see smiling faces - and that can't be bad can it ?
