I always promised I would write an honest review. The staff are so friendly but that cannot make up for a lack of investment in the most important area, the bed. The beds in this hotel in the 3 rooms I stayed in are rock hard.
Bedding, towels everything is budget, but that what you get for the price. Rooms 301,101, 263 (suites, having laminated floors (weird) and noisy. The furniture is stained and passed it throw out date. Food is good and not badly priced. The chef like the management is Indian - so the curries hare good, however the hotel has a constant smell of curry around the lift and central stairwell.
Breakfast - continental - ok.
The car park requires you to be an experienced driver to get your car in and out, so come early.
Hotel is walking distance from the Town.
I hope John the assistant manager gets his wish of new beds, that would be a start, followed by good towels and bedding - until then I shall not be returning - a good nights sleep is worth every penny Premier Inn charges.More
