“Evokes many memories for older people”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

Some of my family lived through the Coventry Blitz, and I always
get goose bumps when I visit. All my house visitors that we have
taken have really enjoyed their visit.

“A Great Sample of Ancient and Modern”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

Unfortunately we arrived just as a service was starting but we were able to stand at the entrance and get a fair view of the inside. We were especially impressed with the beautiful wall filled with many small stained-glass windows and wished we could have had a better look. The large glassed wall at the side of the entrance contained what looked-like engraved appropriate characters which were very effective. It was pouring with rain as we left but we did go and have a look at the adjoining original Cathedral which had been bombed out during the war. Of course it was a sad sight but we did get a rough idea of how it must have looked when it was a complete building. They are trying hard to raise funds to re-build it.

“An interesting cathedral”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

its very interesting having both the ruins of the old cathedral and the new one on the same site. It is a constant reminder of what the town went through in the war.
