We missed the crowds by going with our friends, and our dogs, today Tuesday rather than bank Holiday Monday,

A great place for walking, relaxing, enjoying open spaces and the café is always a good place to have a snack too,

Although the menu is a bit limited the food is very good, the portions large and overall good value.

The staff are friendly, efficient and eager to please, a very pleasant place to visit so close to urban Coventry.
It's a pity more of those who used the outdoor BBQs yesterday didn't tidy up after their meals, is it too much to expect them to take their litter home or to the bins rather than to leave it scattered around ,expecting the overworked park staff to clean everything up ? And considering how busy Bank Holiday Monday must have been the loos were very, very clean.....
This Park caters for everyone, young ,old, pet lovers -or just those wanting a big green space to wander around and appreciate the environment.

Popular country park.
Lovely woodland walks, a lake, attractive grounds, café, well-stocked visitors centre, and ice cream van to make for a lovely day out.
More unusually, BBQs are permitted. Many people- from a multitude of ethnicities- gather on the fields to grill their national dishes, and it's nice just tpeople watching.
Pay and Display parking.

Great place for an adventure with the kids. Been to a wedding there in the house too. The building is old and definitely worth a visit.
