“Lovely for a walk or play”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

Coombe Abbey Country Park is a great place to take the family. There is a good size play area near the centre with lots of nice wooden climbing frames, swings etc. Great, safe area for little ones. There are trails to follow round the woods and lake, and an adventure playground in the middle of the woods suitable for older, more adventurous kids. There is an activity centre, shop and restaurant too. Parking is £3.65 at the moment, but then you can stay as long as you like, and there are many benches and picnic tables dotted about to have a sit-down. Excellent place for a long dog walk as the scenery is beautiful all year. Great place to spend time if you love being outdoors. And take your spare bread for the ducks!

Lots of trails through the woods and along the lakeside. A very pleasant place to go. There's an adventure playground in the middle of the woods for the kids.

“Good”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

This is a lovely park to take children in the summer. You can take a picnic or even have a barbecue. We go with children about 4 times a year and they love it they never get bored because there's so much to do. Even if you don't fancy the park it is a lovely place for a nice stroll

“Walk in the Park”

Great open space with room for children to run as they want. Great walks through the park and woodlands. Unfortunately at £3.50 for the parking expensive for a walk.
