“Brooding Abbey set in super parkland”

The country park is large and has much variety with a long curving lake, woodland and open spaces. The visitor centre has a slight air of Marylebone Station about it and obviously is aimed at education.

“Beautiful hotel and grounds.”

Just had a look and walk around this hotel and grounds for a few hours, didn't see enough of it, didn't have time but what we saw was very very pretty.

“Great family friendly country park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012 via mobile

Coombe park has a good mix of things to do. There are a couple of good playgrounds. Ducks to feed. Fields to play on. Woods and pools to explore. And a visitors centre with a good cafe, shop and nature displays. Parking is a bit expensive for a short visit.

“Fabulous venue for a picnic/day out or country walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2012

Parking could be better, especially when it has rained. Play grounds, country walks, wildlife, picnic areas, ice cream vans in the summer, all add up to a great place to take the kids and have fun, all year round.
