Stayed here for one night with my son whilst viewing universities in the area. Short distance to Warwick University and near Coventry University. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful with directions. Choice of cereals, fruit, Cooked breakfast and toast. Room was clean and comfortable.

Staying at this Lodge is really only convenient if you are attending an event on the site. It is small and quite rudimentary. You walk in from a tiny reception hall to a small sitting/ dining room which converts itself into a breakfast room in the morning. Some wood chairs and tables in a terrace over the open garden allow for some sunshine and air when possible, and provide a pleasant place to enjoy a cold drink. The rooms are simple, adequate and non descriptive. They fulfil the basic requirements without any extra frills. Mine also was on the ground floor and had access to the outdoors varanda and wodden chairs, a surplus bonus. Bathroom of reasonable size with bathtub and a fixed to wall shower. Available amenities very limited.
The worst part is the quality of the available food at meals, defenitely microwave classic fare, not at all palatable. Breakfast is rudimentary but an automatic machine serves decent expresso coffee and another one a reasonable orange juice. English style breakfast which I did not touch looked acceptable in its normal greasy form. Service is at its minimum in all areas. All things considered this establishment does not leave you with good memories but is acceptable for a very short stay.

The room we had was clean and tidy but was in need of a refurb. Did not stay the night as there was a major water leak from one of the tanks with water getting into the electrics. We were there for the Festival of Motoring and Gala dinner. We were shiped to the on site hostal to get ready for the evening do, and that was grim. After the dinner we were eventualy taken to the Woodland Grange for the night. Through out the staff were very good evan though they were under pressure. It would seem that the whole of the Stoneleigh Park Lodge is in need of a compleate over haul.

Room Tip: Great if you are doing an event at Stonliegh.Staff very helpfull.

Clean hotel, but after staying there for the last few years I do now feel some refurbishment should be considered. Great location for the exhibition halls etc.

We stayed here for 1 night after a friend's wedding in the Royal Pavillion on site at Stoneleigh Park. The location of the Lodge is great if you are attending any events here and parking is right outside. We arrived early (11.30am) and were really pleased to be able to have our room shortly after this time. The room was very clean, spacious and had all the facilities you wanted. Additionally the shower was very powerful and we had hot water throughout our stay.

Now for the less good bits. The room (231)was no better than a Travelodge except it had tea/coffee in the room - style was very dated, the sheets were a bit scratchy and the toilet seat was broken. We told the receptionist about the loo seat as we checked out, and she said she would let someone know. The pillows were not comfortable, and the doors were really loud when anyone shut them - not great all hours of the night. Next morning we went down for breakfast at 7.45 - given that breakfast service had started less than an hour before we were expecting good things. Well, the room was empty, we were greeted with a smile and the service was friendly. The hot food was really poor - thick layer of skin on the baked beans, could not identify if the sausages were beef or pork and the bacon didn't seem cooked enough. I didn't feel the choice of cold food was great either.

All in all, if you want somewhere to get your head down if attending an event at Stoneleigh Park, this place does the job. We couldn't fault the staff either - everyone was very friendly. I just couldn't help but feel £80 for B+B here was very overpriced for what you got - would have been better in a Premier Inn nearby spending less and getting a taxi! Felt conned as this was for a wedding party.

I have stayed here several times and for the money £55 bed and breakfast its what one would expect, I think some people expect too much. I was working on site and it was ideal as only 2mins away from my venue. The room I had this time was one of the best rooms I have had ground floor with doors opening outside where there was a table and two chairs to sit outside in the evening ideal in the summer and it had been newly decorated everything very clean. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. The english breakfast was fine buffet and style and freshly cooked. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The only thing about this hotel that I don't like is the bar is in the dining room attached to reception so it is not very relaxing in the evening as there are diners and people just wanting to have a drink and relax, so not much atmosphere.

Room Tip: I had 115 and a collegue 117 these were better than usual so ask for one on the ground floor with fr...
