Where are you going for Valentines I was asked by a couple of Freind's, Da Vinci's I replied "haven't been for a few years thought I would give it another chance" Good luck with that I got back!
Our starters were excellent, could not fault them, starting to look a little smug now having being advised to give the place a miss by two earlsdon friends.
The staff were a little disorganised, nobody asked if we wanted drinks, then two people asked.
Main course, both had veal, we were asked how are meals were and both had to say veal was poor. Over came the arrogant owner Toni, saying "nobody else has complained!"
The wine was poor and we left it not finished. The owner presented the bill and said he had made an adjustment due to the veal not being up to scratch, he had taken about £2.00 off for the bread and butter we had with our starter!
The couple behind us we heard them saying the steak was bland, another couple to the side the male left 3/4 of a steak diane. We will not return to this restaurant while the arrogant bullying owner Toni is still at the helm, Toni when you brash up to somebody and forcefully ask how your meal is do you not realise that even if it is poor some people will say fine as they do not want confrontation?
