BEDROOM - the sort of room you walk into and say 'OK this will do just fine'. Lovely and warm, clean and fresh milk supplied for tea in the morning. PS The brochure on the table is very well put together. It is not tatty and out of date but really informative. Downstairs lots of leaflets about eating places, and dont forget Ryton Gardens close by.
BREAKFAST - hearty and all you could wish for.
BAR AREA - An L-shaped bar provides draft and bottled substances for most tastes. Lots of board games for the bored (ha ha).
WHY STAY HERE? - In most places you have your room, the TV and that's all (frantic search for programme that is not complete rubbish). Here, everyone gathers in the bar for a chat and meeting the other guests. Due to the friendly vibe there are few inhibitions and everyone gets to know each other if they wish to. Brilliant.
Nearby, the Blacksmiths Arms provides a real fire, locals of character and food for a few quid.
Warning - if your TomTom takes you to a Caravan park, turn back towards Coventry and drive 200m. The clearly illuminated sign will be on your left.
Go for it folks.

Could not have been a better stay, warm welcome fresh milk provided for the tea very clean, quality bath towels superb power shower. I was lucky to sample an evening meal home made steak and kidney pie with perfectly cooked fresh vegetables I was offered pudding but could not have managed that as well! Breakfast was also a delight, good quality food cooked to perfection. A great stay very good value for money would highly recommend the b and b.

This b&b was nominated by our employers as accommodation for a course being held locally. Not being a lover of all things "Holiday Inn" and the like, I was happy to stay here.

From the start we were welcomed warmly by Jane and Danny, the owners. We were shown our rooms which were extremely well laid out with tiled bathrooms and HUGE power showers. You could easily fit a small family in there!! The thoughtful little touches here and there made the accommodation very welcoming. The beds - amazingly comfortable! The linen extremely fresh and pressed. The pillows nice and full and fresh. Wow - I slept so soundly! Cleanliness was second to none here. I couldn't fault it at all.

We arrived at 8am for our breakfasts. Full English was the order of the day. I have to highely recommend the bacon which was cooked to perfection! Good size portions too.

In the evenings we went to the bar downstairs. Again, Danny and Jane were very friendly, welcoming and attentive without being over friendly or over familiar. They have honed their people skills perfectly! Excellent selection of wines, spirits, bottled beer and cider, all really cold and refreshing.

We spent just two nights here but I would have NO hesitation in returning. It really is like home from home and when you are away on business, this is a very important thing .... it is to me anyway! I'm already looking forward to another course!
